I chose this vehicle because it points to God Himself as the absolute truth! For truth is not a concept ...Truth is a Person, that Person is the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, He is the only One who is perfect in showing the truth, coming to testify of the truth. for example, one might hear as a common statement that the truth shall set you free! that statement by itself, is not entirely the whole truth. in the gospel of John chapter 8 verese 31 it says " So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, if you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." God's truth over man's tradition is what I need daily. the true Christmas story is that God came to mankind, born in the flesh, ( in which the Old testment clearly points to Jesus's coming) He, being God, the Son, would stiil remain 100% God and 100% man at the same time, never breaking any of God's own commands, but fulfilling them perfectly. Living to please God the Father, suffered and shed His own blood for the sins of the world, was cruxcified and was buried and on the third day, God raised Him from the dead, He ascended into heaven adn sits at the right ahnd of the Father and He will come again to judge the living and the dead. those who believe Him, not just believe in Him, He will give eternal live, those who don't trust and believe Him will suffer eternal punishment. personally, I trust in His work and not mine, It is not because I am better than any other person that has lived or will ever lived, it's is that I am just as bad off as any other person, except thanks be the God for His Son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. again, i used to say that honesty is the best policy, therefore, that statement in and of itself doesn't go far enoug.... HONESTY IS THE ONLY POLICY! there is a differnce between a truth and a lie... and if one doesn't know the difference one will believe the the lie .... a truth and a lie are complete opposites, except for one place, they are both believable. it is interesting that right in the middle of the word believe you find a lie .... beLIEve... remember
